Together Again, what a fitting theme - not since 2019 in Saint John, New Brunswick have we been able to attend the National Annual Meeting in person. The National Officers in partnership with members from IODE Lady Holland and IODE Lady’s Slipper Chapters in Charlottetown planning an exciting three-day agenda to conduct IODE business, participate in workshops, witness award ceremonies and reconnect with friends. |

The IODE War Memorial Committee met in the morning. Following lunch the 124th Annual Meeting opened with the Presentation of the 2023 Annual Reports, and awarding the IODE RCMP Community Service Award. PEI Fun Night theme was Retro 60's & 70's Breakout Your Vintage Fashion, we saw retro bell-bottoms, tie-dye shirts and nostalgia 1970’s disco flashy glamorous outfits, platform shoes and jumpsuits. We danced the night away to music from Blue Crystals and We 3. Thanks to the members from IODE Lady Holland and IODE Lady’s Slipper Chapters for arranging this musical ensemble. Link to view video

- The National Annual Meeting continued after lunch meeting the winners of the IODE War Memorial Scholarship link to the 2024/2025 Recipients. Kate, Erica and Christina accepted their awards via Zoom.
- Share a Story…Bring a Book project reported that over 1,762 children's books (valued at $15,000), with $1,800 in Indigo Gift Cards were donated to CHANCES to help their child development programs and parent support services for families and children in Prince Edward Island.
- presenting the Primary Chapter Membership Awards, and introducing the winning author Julie Lawson the 2024 IODE Violet Downey Book Award. Julie joined us via Zoom.
- The closing IODE National 124th Annual Meeting dinner included the Installation of the 2024/2025 Board of Directors and the National President’s Address.

Promoting IODE membership with custom lapel pins and static cling decals are available for purchase
Using our tradition red and blue colours the IODE logo is printed on premium white vinyl and looks great on any window. These decals are made of flexible vinyl that will stick to clean glass surfaces, metal and other smooth, non-porous surfaces. Both the printed side and reverse side will cling to glass, allowing you to apply your designs inside or outside your car window. The logo static cling decal is 4.5” x 5.25”, includes the IODE tagline and website.

Our custom-crafted IODE logo lapel pins are a great example of a small item that can have a big impact. The embossed lapel pin is ½ inch square, with the colourized IODE logo on a gold metal finish, complete with a butterfly clutch fastener. The IODE lapel pin is a personal element to display your IODE affiliation – on jackets and coats.
